We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions that people may want to ask before starting work with a builder. If you have a question that isn’t listed here, please contact us and we will be glad to answer any of your queries.

We do.  Once we start a project, we make contact with the Building Inspector at the local Council office.  We make all the necessary arrangements to have the Building Inspector carry out the relevant inspections and we follow this process through until the project is completed and properly signed off.

No, any extra costs will be agreed in writing before the work is carried out.

All our work force are directly employed by Solihull Maintenance, with the exception of Gas and Electrics, where we use NIC and CORGI registered companies who have been working alongside us for many years.

We have specialist suppliers that match bricks and we always achieve the very best possible match.

Yes, Solihull Maintenance is a Limited company with £10 million Public Liability insurance and £5 million Employers’ Liability insurance to protect all parties in nearly every eventuality.

Yes.  For all domestic projects, we use a specific homeowners’ contract produced by the JCT.

Yes.  Our installation only service is very popular and it’s fully guaranteed.

We always provide customers with a list of recently completed projects with every quotation we supply.
