Can you provide references?
We always provide customers with a list of recently completed projects with every quotation we supply.
I’ve seen a new Kitchen/Bathroom I like. Do you offer an installation only service?
Yes. Our installation only service is very popular and it’s fully guaranteed.
Do you work to any form of contract?
Yes. For all domestic projects, we use a specific homeowners’ contract produced by the JCT. This contract is fully endorsed by Trading Standards.
Do you have insurance to carry out the work?
Yes, Solihull Maintenance is a Limited company with £10million Public Liability insurance and £5million Employers’ Liability insurance to protect all parties in nearly every eventuality.
Do you use sub-contract labour?
All our work force are directly employed by Solihull Maintenance, with the exception of Gas and Electrics, where we use NIC and Gas Safe registered companies who have been working alongside us for many years.
Will there be any extra costs?
No, any extra costs will be agreed in writing before the work is carried out.
What about Building Control Regulations, who deals with this?
We do. Once we start a project, we make contact with the Building Inspector at the local Council office. We make all the necessary arrangements to have the Building Inspector carry out the relevant inspections and we follow this process through until the project is completed and properly signed off.
What about matching bricks to my existing bricks, can you achieve a good enough match?
We have specialist suppliers that match bricks and we always achieve the very best possible match.
