Solihull Maintenance won a contract to build a new 2 storey pharmacy attached to an existing G.P. surgery site through local architects, Cross & Craig Associates.
Solihull Maintenance worked hand in hand with the G.P.s and pharmacists throughout the duration of the project and the G.P. surgery was kept open throughout by careful management of the site by Solihull Maintenance.
Due to the poor ground, the site had concrete piles installed. New electrical mains were brought in to keep the building separate from the Doctor’s surgery.
A new entrance was created to the pharmacy and doctors surgery with an aluminium shop front and feature glass from ground to roof. A floating glazed mezzanine floor was installed along with feature lighting and a new fire alarm system.
An Italian spiral staircase was erected to the mezzanine floor. All the floor coverings, wall coverings and fitting out were done by Solihull Maintenance.
Solihull Maintenance project managed the job from the start to handover of keys for use as a pharmacy.
